PHOTOS: 1200 Dead, Many Injured as Haiyan Typhoon Rocks Philippines

Nigeria is really blessed considering what is happening in other countries. On friday a powerful typhoon named Haiyan ripped through the Philippines, killing more than 1200 people, and leaving many more injured with millions displaced from their homes.

The typhoon, ranks among the world’s strongest with winds of up to 235mph and gusts of 170mph.

It triggered major landslides, knocked out power and communications and caused catastrophic widespread damage. Hundreds of homes have been flattened and scores of streets flooded. Victims’ dead bodies littered the streets. More details and photos after the cut...

The storm was said to have been moving towards mainland Asian and was expected to reach Vietnam coastal areas this morning. Who knows what has happened? Hey, hope it doesn't come to Africa; Nigeria to be precise, lolz.
