Golden Eaglets Coach Manu Garba Replaced With Emmanuel Amunike

The Nigerian Football Federation has announced the Golden Eaglets assistant coach Emmanuel Amunike as the head coach of the national U-17 team.

Coach Manu Garba and assistant, Nduka Ugbade have been promoted along with the victorious team that won FIFA U-17 world cup have been promoted to the national U-20 team.

According to mtnfootball, the newly promoted Flying Eagles and crew (2013 Fifa U-17 champions) are due to set up training camp in March.

“We want to ensure that this present U-17 team grow with their coach. So as we are elevating the players, we are also elevating the coaches,” a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) informed M TNFootball.com

“However, we have ensured continuity by keeping Emmanuel Amunike, so we can sustain the style, character of the Golden Eaglets.”
