'Baby Face' Theft Scandal: Wande Coal's Promise To Don Jazzy On Next Meeting

Former Mavin Records artiste, Wande Coal, has insisted that he has no grudge against his former boss, Don Jazzy, even though some have insinuated on the contrary.

During his interview with Factory 78 the singer disclosed that he has gotten past the bad way he and Don Jazzy disgraced each other on twitter some days ago.

The ‘Black Diamond Entertainment’ boss also revealed that he will show to the Mavin Records boss that he has nothing against him. According to Wande Coal, he would hug Don Jazzy whenever he sees him anywhere just to show that ‘old things are passed away, behold, he is now a new creature and things have become new.’

Well, time will tell whether it was sarcasm or not…

Associated Airlines Crash Victim, Deji Falae Laid To Rest

Deji Falae has been buried at his home town Ijomu Akure Ondo State. He was among the victims that died in the October 3rd plane crash of the Associated Airlines that was conveying the remains of the former Governor of the state, Agagu back home. The funeral service took place yesterday at St David's Anglican Cathedral, Ijomu, Akure. Until his death, he was the commissioner of culture and tourism in the state. ASUU Indefinitely Suspends Its NEC Meeting Over Ex-president's Death

Sources close to ASUU have disclosed that it has postponed its National executive Coucil (NEC) meeting slated for today in order to honour her former President Dr. Festus Iyayi who died yesterday morning in a fatal car accident along Lokoja, on his way to Kano state for today's meeting. The meeting which was expected to end the four month strike will now hold at a later date yet to be announced.

According to reports, Kogi State’s Governor, Mr. Idris Wada’s convoy rammed into the vehicle conveying Professor Iyayi and some members from University of Benin branch of the union to Kano. The university don who is also a popular writer, died on the spot while three other occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for emergency care.

Nigerian pop star Iyanya who turned 27 on Thursday, 31st October 2013 really had fun with other music stars, friends and well wishers who attended the party. Fun indeed! Hmmm, but the guy really spent cash. His manager Ubi Franklin, revealed details about the event saying he was the brain behind the raunchy birthday cake and party which he claimed cost $19,000 (N3million). Whoops!

Anambra state University renamed after Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu

Anambra State University, Uli (ANSU) formerly known as Anambra State Polytechnic, ANATECH, has been re-named again for the third time. This time it was named after the late Biafran leader, Ikemba Nnewi Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

It was announced by the Governor of the state, Peter Obi in a live broadcast on ABStv on Friday 1st November 2013

According to the governor, the university was renamed after late Ojukwu in celebration of his posthumous 80th birthday.

The late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu who was the former military governor of the Eastern Region of Nigeria before the first military coup in 1966 died on November 26, 2011 at the age of 78 and has since been laid to rest in his home town Nnewi, Anambra state.

Fire breaks out at Great Nigeria House at Balogun market, Lagos

A fire outbreak reportedly occured this morning at Great Nigeria Insurance House at Balogun Market in Lagos. Eye witnesses account states that the fire which started around 5am was suspected to be as a result of an electrical fault from the top floor.

Men of the National Commission for Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), LASEMA, and the Lagos State Fire Service as well as Federal Fire Service were on ground to quench the fire, and rescue victims of the fire incident. Bizarre: World's hairiest girl

She is Supatra Sasuphan, a 12 year old girl from Bangkok, Thailand. It was caused by a rare genetic condition. She also holds the Guiness world record for the hairiest girl on earth. Supatra, who had endured lots of mockeries from her schoolmates says she enjoys being a world record holder and is even one of the most popular girls at her school. She insists her condition is just 'who I am', adding that she 'does not even think about it'.
